About Linzi ~ Holistic Lifestyle Consultant With a background in the financial sector in the City of London Linzi is now well placed to understand and help clients whose occupations and life are stress loaded. Having taken the step to downshift away from the ‘rat race’ she classifies herself as an Holistic Lifestyle Consultant due to her wide ranging experience within the complementary arts and eco environment arenas. Whilst working in the City Linzi assisted at a lunchtime Relaxation Class for city workers. She studied Shiatsu with Ray Ridolfi and Chris Jarmey (amongst others) at the British School of Shiatsu and the School of Natural Therapy (which preceeded the European Shiatsu School). Her interest in the oriental arts developed from the mid 1980's. Linzi went on to publish and edit a magazine on natural health and environmental issues. She is a professionally trained Feng Shui consultant (obtaining a diploma from the internationally acclaimed Raymond Lo) and studied Space Clearing and Clutter Clearing with Karen Kingston, the western space clearing guru. Linzi has been a member of Embody, Complementary Therapist Association and Therapy Lecturers Association.since 2002. Embody now incorporates ITEC and the Guild of Professional Practitioners and serves it's membership within the natural health and beauty trades. Her particular interest is in holistic breast cancer care having positively recovered from breast cancer herself. Linzi received her Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich in February 2007 and has been teaching adults regularly since 2004. She is a member of the teachers IfT. ANIMAL WORK: Linzi has travelled abroad extensively having an enquiring mind into native cultures and the beauty of this planet we share. She lives with her partner Mark Simmons who is one of the UK’s leading Tellington Touch animal practitioners. 'TTouch' deals with undesirable behavioural issues in all types of animals using special kinds of touches and building a closer bond with your pet. He is passionate about helping owners understand their pets better.
