Energy Medicine and My Vision for the Future

In this 22nd Century we forget that many of the complementary health therapies that are becoming more and more popular were infact originally developed by medical doctors, for instance Dr Edward Bach in the 1930’s. Vitalistic medicine is the medicine of the future. It looks at the biochemic reactions within the body-mind and VMS (vitamin mineral supplementation) research is becoming more microcosmic in it’s approach than ever before. As our bodies have such a high water content, between 65-85%, the quality and quantity of water taken into our bodies on a regular basis is fundamental to our well being. Science has proved that the drinking of water in the morning accelerates the efficiency of brain activity. Showing that to ‘get up and go’ really does mean to have cups of water, hot or cold first thing, then our wonderful wee and bowel movement will surely follow, perhaps with more ease and flow (excuse the pun).

Modern medicine research is now proving that ‘we are what we eat’ in that food does have a biochemical impact at a cellular level. We are certainly living in an exciting age, a bit scary also. Never more so has the voice of the individual been so important when the ‘powers that be’ are advocating more chemicalisation and wonder drugs for our modern dis-eases. No amount of lab produced functional foods will be as effective as nature’s delicate balance and completeness. I’d like to think of the future in health care for the individual as being like an Indian Thali meal! Bowls of different sizes with a variety of dishes, some hot, some mild but all the tastes work well together.

A Vision: Responsibility of the individual for a good diet and appropriate physical exercise and movement. Some form of spirituality to enrich our soul and life which includes tolerance of other’s belief’s. An appreciation of our planet’s eco system and a distinct awareness of what we use and how we use it from an eco viewpoint. Reducing, Reusing and finally Recycling.

Bespoke supplements only taken as required because now our soils would be fully enriched with natural nutrients and organic is everywhere, and affordable for the majority. Holistic Pre conceptual healthcare as a standard. A society where our Elders are respected and accommodated physically and practically as opposed to our current trend for youth rules. I.e. simple things like wording on packaging and forms in larger type and product shelves that can be moved automatically for easy reach. Pure water with vitality drawn from our taps.
