MOBILISE MIND AND BODY A gentle stretching and awakening class which includes a relaxation based meditation to set you up for the day (or prepare you for a good night's sleep). Aims are to increase flexibility, improve breathing ability and enhance right/left balance and stress release. Classes combine simple stretches, physical loosening up movements based on qi gong and tai chi with awareness guided breathing. We use meridian stretches and DoIn massage on self plus partner work to support healthfulness. To end we indulge in visualisations and positive vibes to bring a smile. "The exercises from your class are the only thing I've continued from last year's camp. They are bite sized pieces to take away and easy to digest. I'm still friends with a woman I teamed up with last year in a pairs exercise."
BECOMING YOUR POSITIVE POTENTIAL Do you sometimes wonder where your happy go lucky self goes to when lifes challenges get the better of you? In this course we explore Bach Flower Remedies and how we can use them to bring about a positive change to our emotional moods and state of mind. Whether it be bereavement, divorce, family leaving home, fear speaking in front of people, driving test nerves, wanting to be more assertive at work, etc. all sorts of everyday situations where wed like to feel more able to cope and feel stronger in ourselves. MEDITATION FOR BUSY PEOPLE Essentially the aim of meditation is to bring some stillness into our mind and life, to bring about a more effective way of living here and now. On this course we will investigate various styles and techniques of meditation and try them out in the class. We will cover finding the time and space to meditate, and how we may introduce meditation to younger family members. 5 weeks duration HOW CLEAR IS YOUR HOUSE? Youve seen the TV programme about physically cleaning your house, now youll have the chance on this workshop to see the where, what and how to clear the clutter from your home and your life. When you clear out the clutter from your home this allows all sorts of opportunities to arise, which may not have done so otherwise. 1 day duration CLEARING CLUTTER AND CREATING AN ALTAR Clear the Clutter away and create a sacred space to make an altar. An altar is a designated area no matter what size where you keep special items and create an atmosphere for you to meditate in/on, spend time for reflection, chant or just to practice yoga or tai chi nearby. The altar can be exactly how you want it to blend in with your room design, contemporary or otherwise.
